The Smart Country Convention claims to be “the leading event for digital government and public services” and will take place from November 7-9.

About openDesk – The Sovereign Workplace
If you’ve not already heard of the project “openDesk – The Sovereign Workplace”, take a look at this blog article: The rise of the Sovereign Workplace: OpenDesk – Your open source alternative to Microsoft and Google.
Currently, representatives of the different open source software vendors collaborate with representatives of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior and Home Affairs (BMI). The goal is a release of openDesk 1.0 end of 2023, to offer a free and open source workplace for organizations in the public sector.
